Location Hayman Island is located in the
Whitsunday Islands, Queensland. Hayman Island is a continental island of some 294 hectares,
rising to 250 metres at its highest point. The resort is located on the
southerly shore fronted by a sweeping sandy beach and surrounded by 14
hectares of lush tropical gardens.

Climate
Guests travel to Hayman Island to bask in a beautiful tropical climate,
with warm days, year round swimming and a relaxed atmosphere. Throughout
the year, the weather is warm and sultry with January normally the
hottest month. The winter months offer warm days with only a light
jacket or sweater normally required during the evening. July is
traditionally the coolest month.

Hamilton Island or Proserpine Jetstar
fly to Hamilton Island. Both Jetstar and Virgin Blue fly to Whitsunday
Coast (Proserpine). With Jetstar and Virgin Blue you can book your
own flights online. We
are more than happy to just book your accommodation and transfers.Airfares
are subject to availability at the time of booking
and the cheaper fares do tend to sell out quickly.
To get a low airfare your dates may need to be flexible.
Getting
to Hayman from Hamilton Island
The Hayman luxury Launch meets all
flights into and out of Hamilton Island and the trip takes 1 hour. On
arrival at Hamilton Island, you just need to check into the Hayman
Island counter at the airport. A representative from Hayman will be at
Great Barrier Reef Airport to meet all guests on arrival. AUD$ 310.00 per adult and AUD$155.00
per child (4-12) return from 1 April 2008 - 31 March 2009
Getting
to Hayman from Shute Harbour
Hayman operates launch transfers on the vessel "Whitsunday Experience"
from Shute Harbour. Clients should check in a minimum of 15 minutes
prior to departure time. Travel time to Hayman is approximately 60
