Hayman offers restaurants and bars plus a lounge,
and outdoor island settings for dining, including the Reef surrounds.
Each week, Executive Chef, Glenn Bacon, or another of the resort's
Chefs, hosts The Chef's Table for guests in the Main Kitchen. Chef Bacon
also invites celebrated food and wine experts to join him in presenting
The Chef's Table. Breakfast is served overlooking the Hayman Beach,
while light meals and a bar service are available daily by the beach and
pools. Gourmet hampers can be prepared for resort and Reef adventures.
Evening Dining is presented in restaurants, which are non-smoking and
open selected evenings. Restaurant bookings are required. Meanwhile,
meals can also be enjoyed within guest rooms, at The Chef's Table, or in
other resort locations. Sunset cocktails and supper are served nightly.
Azure
Overlooking the Hayman Beach and beyond to the
Whitsunday waters and neighbouring islands, the day starts in Azure with
a bountiful buffet breakfast overflowing with tropical fruits, juices,
all things healthy and some of life's indulgences served from 6.00am to
10.30am. Azure is also open selected days for lunch and refreshments
indoors or on the fabulous outdoor deck.

Azure presents
Australian contemporary cuisine from an open show kitchen, specialising
in fresh seafood, in an indoor and outdoor setting.
Prices start from approx. $A21 for entrees, $A39 for main courses and
$A16 for desserts. Price for the seafood buffet (available on selected
evenings) is $A85 per person.

La Trattoria
Al fresco
home-style Italian and Mediterranean dining in La Trattoria is enjoyed
in a rustic indoor and outdoor setting of local timbers, hand beaten
chandeliers, hanging vines and terracotta tiles. Famous for its
spectacular antipasto displays and piping hot pizzas, La Trattoria's
lively village atmosphere is enhanced by dance music from the resident
band.

Oriental
Specialties of traditional Asian cultures are prepared with innovative
flare at Oriental, overlooking a ceremonial tea house, which can seat 10
guests for a private dinner, and tranquil garden filled with rock pools
and waterfalls. Dining platforms, each seating 4 guests, are scattered
among exquisite gardens and provide a unique setting for dinner. Inside,
Oriental is adorned with antiques and artefacts including 18th Century
screens, copper lamps and a happy Buddha.

La Fontaine
Elegant
La Fontaine offers a formal, yet relaxed atmosphere - a sense of grand
occasion - created by a combination of soft and rich tonings and
romantic lighting amid Louis XVI furnishings, Waterford crystal
chandeliers and a magnificent central limestone fountain. Guests are
treated to an exquisite selection of authentically prepared modern
European cuisine utilising the best in local and international produce.
The cuisine is matched by La Fontaine wine cellar's impressive range of
over 750 vintages from the world's premier vineyards. PLEASE NOTE: La
Fontaine is open seasonally.

Private Dining Room
A Private Dining Room on Hayman Island, seating 14 and adjoining La
Fontaine, is available for exclusive use. Guests can design a special
meal in consultation with the Executive Chef or select from a superb a
la carte menu. The dinner setting is of Regency Mahogany with
appointments including a dome ceiling painted in 23-carat gold,
Waterford crystal chandelier, 17th Century French marble fireplace, 19th
Century bronze firedogs and paintings from the Heidelberg School.
Dress: Jacket preferred for gentlemen.

The Chefs Table
This
weekly event, hosted by Executive Chef, Glenn Bacon, or a member of his
Chef's brigade, takes guests behind the scenes into the Main Kitchen for
a 6-course banquet with matching wines and includes a visit to the
famous La Fontaine wine cellar and Chocolate Room. Throughout the year
Chef Bacon invites Guest Chefs to join him in presenting The Chef's
Table.
The Chef's Table is priced at $A245 per person. Children's prices do
not apply. Prices may vary for Guest Chef evenings.

overlooking the Hayman Beach and Lagoon Pool.

setting of The Club Lounge awaits.
Hayman Island Pool Bar
After a refreshing swim in the famous Hayman Island Pool, guests can
order an appetising snack and refreshing beverage during the day in this
very special setting.
Gourmet Hampers
Hayman Island can create a wholesome hamper of guest favourites for a
day's outing… perhaps a boat cruise, picnic on the beach or island walk.
